Katharine Weder

Katharine Weder joined the learning and instruction group of Prof. Dr. Martina Rau as study coordinator for teacher training in June 2025. In addition to this role, Katharine supports team members in preparing and refining their publications. She is passionate about writing and editing.

Katharine earned her PhD in German Literary Studies from the University of Geneva, as well as a teaching diploma in German and History from the University of Zurich.

Prior to her current position at ETH Zurich, Katharine worked as a scientific officer in the Projects section of the Swiss National Science Foundation in Bern. Before that, she taught at the ‘Mathematisch-Naturwissenschaftliches Gymnasium Rämibühl’ in Zurich.
