Teacher working retreat

Every two years, ETH Zurich invites trainee teachers, specialised didacticians and other organisers of teaching diploma and didactics certificate for a working retreat at hotel Seeblick in Emmetten. Many thanks to everyone for the stimulating discussions and productive collaborations! We look forward to seeing you again in two years' time.

Charlotte was invited to moderate a panel discussion on diversity, equity, and inclusion in chemistry at the Aexternal pageustrian Young Chemists Summit in Salzburg.

Welcome

Dr. Charlotte Müller, who defended her thesis succesfully in Sep 2023 at ETH Zurich, joined Martina's professorship as a postdoc.

September 15, 2023: Ipek Paksoy joined Martina's professorship as a doctoral student of the ETH Zurich - EPFL Joint Doctoral Programme in the Learning Sciences (JDPLS).

Sara May joined Martina's professorship as the Office Manager.

Additional Information

Our group strives to discover effective, evidence-based ways to improve educational practice with an eye towards generalizable principles across content areas and issues of societal relevance. Specific foci of interest include (1) designing effective instructional interventions, (2) strategically implementing instructional interventions, and (3) joint learning of humans and machines.
