Martina Vincoli

is a doctoral student of the ETH Zurich - EPFL Joint Doctoral Programme in the Learning Sciences (JDPLS), commencing her doctorate in September 2024.

Martina started her academic path at the University of Trento (Italy), firstly studying Computer Science, and then getting a Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction. During her studies, she deepened her knowledge about educational technology at Saarland University during an exchange, which led her to further develop her thesis on AI's use in education. Before joining ETH, she completed an internship at EPFL as a UX designer for an authoring educational platform. In the past years, she always looked for external activities where she could learn more and put her skills to the test, such as Hackathons or volunteering in organisation teams for education-focused hackathons.

She is interested in how students and teachers interact with tools and technology, taking into account various points of view in an interdisciplinary manner.
